Science Leadership Conference
Each year, the Board of Scientific Affairs (BSA) and the Science Directorate host the APA Science Leadership Conference (SciLC). The SciLC provides a venue for psychology's scientific leadership to gather, develop a shared agenda and plan for the future of scientific psychology.
Act Locally: Promoting Psychological Science in Our Academic Institutions and Local Communities

The theme of our eighth annual SciLC was "Act Locally: Promoting Psychological Science in Our Academic Institutions and Local Communities." The goal of this conference was to develop and share innovative ideas for (a) strengthening research and training in psychological science within our colleges and universities, and (b) increasing the understanding and application of psychological science in the local communities to which we belong.
