PI-GRO Presents at the Second Biennial Division 45 Conference

In May 2012 the Public Interest-Government Relations Office (PI-GRO), along with the Office of Ethnic Minority Affairs (OEMA) and the Committee on Ethnic Minority Affairs (CEMA), presented a session at the second biennial Division 45 conference in Ann Arbor, Mich. The session, titled "APA Programmatic and Public Policy Efforts to Advance Ethnic Minority Issues" highlighted the collaborative efforts of PI-GRO, OEMA and CEMA in promoting ethnic minority issues to the APA membership, the public and policymakers. 

In addition, PI-GRO highlighted recent efforts on several key legislative priorities including the Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) and ethnic minority health disparities.
